Why do models do so much drugs?!
Question: Thats an easy one modeling is an shallow profession. These women are told to alter their bodies and use tons of makeup just for them to have a chance in this business. Add to that their inablility to eat what they want to and always have to be charming for others. Thats unnatural. So drugs help them cope with their stresses and dilemmas. I feel bad for them and as a male I really dont see the point for them anyway If I need underwear I dont care what the dude modeling it looks like. Women though might think differently. If they see a glamorous girl modeling they know they dont and cant look like that so why buy their advertised clothing line? Women buy what looks good on THEMSELVES not what looks good on a supermodel. But if im wrong let me know.

If you were under that much stress, couldn't eat, and drinking on the job couldn't be sneaked as easily... what's left?
because they can afford it. and because they think it's glamorous and cool.
And also because they are really stressed out by their job and having to look pretty all the time so they do it to try to have more fun and to relax.
On the movie Gia you can tell the reason why she got so bad is because she hated modeling and she was stressed out and scared and aggravated all the time.
That's a negative stereotype. Not all models do drugs - many don't do any drugs at all! Models have to be healthy to have beautiful skin, hair, and teeth. Their bone structures and genes make them skinny.
Yes there are problems with anorexia in modeling but most models don't have this issue.
