Question: Who was your favourite character on Sex & the City and why!?

I love all of them in their own different ways, but my favorite would definitely have to be Samantha!. She is what every woman wishes she could be in the sense of confidence and not caring what others think!. Even the most uptight of women want to be like Samantha deep down because uptight people are only that way due to the conditioning efefcts of their surroundings but who wouldn't want to be free!?
Carrie is by far the most popular character because every one can relate to her neurosis and humanity, but the show would not be as popular as it was without Samantha!.
The character who grew the most though would definitely be Charlotte!. She went from a prissy girl with judgmental attitudes toward many things to a truly loving woman who really got "it" about life and what's important--loving the ones who love you and realizing that "not all that glitters is gold!."
Miranda was definitely a breath of fresh air for the audience on many levels because of her sarcasm!. She would say the things the audience might have been thinking but wouldn't say!.
Again though, Samantha is my favorite character!. Not entirely because of what she does but how she does it!.
I love all the girls very much though and am eagerly anticipating the sequel!
