sylar never took the shot, he took a shot to cure the virus he had which blocked his powers!. When he was cured he didn't get all of them back!. Peter had his powers taken away, he took a shot to give powers, what it did was restore his original power to copy powers!. So he now only has the power to fly and maybe the fire one that flint has, to get any more or any of the ones he had he has to be near the person who has that power to copy it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
My theory is that he either got the power of flight or he got his old absorbing power back and managed to absorb the flying power from Nathan!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
