Question: Most over-used words and phrases on television!?
Have you ever been watching television and find that there is a particular word or phrase that continually pops up and you find it very annoying!? For instance, someone was recently discussing how the word "amazing" keeps rearing it's head and they have come to loathe hearing the word!. Another example of what is probably the most over-used phrase in the movies would be, "!.!.!.let's get out of here!." But most people don't really notice that phrase so much because it's blunt and to the point and probably the same thing EVERYONE is thinking at that moment!. Here's my personal phrase that has begun to nauseate ME!. Our local television weather person uses the phrase "point in time!." over and over!. Last night, it was used six times during the weather segment on the late night news!. I know, because I knew it was coming and was ready to count!. That forecaster has been stuck on that phrase for about two months now and it's wearing on my nerves!
