Question: What in the world is "The X Factor"!?!!?!!?!!?
WTF is the X Factor!? I live in America!. Is this like the American Idol for whereever the X Factor shows!? Is it shown on American Television!? Is Simon Cowell on this season 2008!? Isn't he working for Idol still, cause I guess Hollywood week for the 8th season already ended!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Its where four judges(simon cowell, dani manoge, cheryl from girls aloud and louis walsh) go around the uk and normal everyday people sing for them and they decide if they on to the next round if their good enough singers!.
Then they narrow the people down again for the next round and the singers that are left are split up into 4 groups and each judge is in charge of one group( over 25s, groups, under 25s girls, under 25s boys) and then the leader of each group picks 3 of the best in their group to go onto the live show!.
And then they sing every week and the viewers txt in their favourite and the bottom two do a sing off and the judges pick out of the bottom two who goes home, and it goes on like that each week until there is a winner( some weeks there is a theme for eg!. next week it is "Take That"( a band) week and all the contestants must sing a Take That song and then Take That will perform too, so each week is kinda different) and the winner is given a record deal and all that!. Leona lewis was in it!.:)
Its just an uk version of american idol,but a bit different!. and simon cowell does both american idol and x factor as far as I know

X Factor is show in the UK yes, it is the show that made the singer Leona Lewis who has also hit America with her songs, it is now on its fourth series, It is judged by Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minouge and Simon Cowell!. The winner always ends up being the Christmas number 1 Hit!.
And no i don't beleive it is shown in America!.
