Question: Why do I still watch "Days of Our Lives"!?
It's not very good!. Sometimes it's downright offensive! Is it just a guilty pleasure!? Why do I still like this stuff!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

i have never been a real fan; I began watching it after they shut down another world; but i stopped watching all together about a year ago (and that was after 6-9 months of flipping to it during Y&R commercial breaks); some of the story lines are just unbelievable!.!.!.possession, alien siblings born to humans, pregnant with twins but two different daddies, and like others have said, you keep your stars, no matter what the salaries, because they once brought the viewers in adn kept the viewers-- all this teeny bopper young adult crap needs to go!.!.!.that's why i stay at Y&RWww@Enter-QA@Com
I don't find it offensive but i definitely agree that sometimes it isn't very good!.!.!. right now, for instance, there really aren't any storylines i'm interested in!.
The "Trent murder" thing never did have my interest- Nick or Melanie could disappear and I'd never notice!.
The stuff with Abe being mayor bores me!.!.!.
I've always loved the storylines involving Sammi but i'm even over most of the stuff with her right now!.!.!.
Hopefully something good will happen soon so it won't become so much of a "gulity pleasure" or a "habit" for us :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

HA! Sometimes I feel the same way!! But it seems if I ever take a break, I miss something REALLY good, then I have to watch the crappy stuff and try and figure out what good stuff I missed!. That's why I'm addicted!. I worry I'll miss something that might actually be worth watching!. LOL, how sad am I!?!!? But it's my only soap, so I really don't feel too bad!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
