Do you think John Sergeant was right to pull out of Strictly Come Dancing?!

Question: Do you think John Sergeant was right to pull out of Strictly Come Dancing!?
!.!. on one hand I can see that his weekly triumphs were making a mockery of the hard work and dedication of the other contestants who were booted off!.!. but on the other hand, has the show and "Brucie" started to take itself a little bit too seriously!? It is after all an amateur competition billed as light entertainment, and John was probably the most entertaining of the lot!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

About 75% of me agrees with John pulling out but I am sad to see him go!.

Although I've read that some people think John's quitting means certain 'judges' have won, I think his decision has highlighted the bullying that goes on and he certainly seems to have ruffled their self important feathers!. The chips on the shoulders are showing along with the facial expressions relating to the taste of sour grapes!.

As well as supposing to be light entertainment for family viewing I seem to remember 'charity' coming into it somewhere!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't blame John for pulling out, the judges comments were so rude it was embarrassing just how infantile they were!. John is far too Intelligent to stand there and argue back, therefore putting himself down to their level!. Instead, John has taken the high road and put an end to their insults by quitting the show!. The BBC should reimburse the public and also donate the equivalent to charity so that nobody loses out except them!. This was light entertainment that was taken far too seriously!. I think that John would have got to the final but wouldn't have won, it would have been nice for him to have stayed until the end but the judges made that impossible!. I'll watch on Saturday to see him do his last waltz but after that I'll never watch Strictly again!.!.!.!.not unless the BBC gets rid of the judges and Brucie (Brucie's had a few digs at John and he really isn't funny anymore!)Www@Enter-QA@Com

I really enjoyed watching John and his attempt at dancing!. I do think the Judges were giving him low marks knowing that he would need massive public support to keep him in!. This he received every week much to there disbelief!., the Brittish people do like an under dog and if the judges had kept quite and not drawn attension to him he would have died a natural death!. I do however think he was pushed by the comments in the press as well as the judges!. The sad thing is he has more likely raised more money for children in need than the rest put together!. Now he has gone the people who voted for him will not vote leaving the whole point of the program to raise money a little flat!. He would not go and join a west end show we know that, but he would make us all feel a lot better about ourselves not be able to cha cha cha quick step with out breaking a limb!. Sorry to see you go John you could have been the people King of dance!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes (he was treated like ****) and no (he should have stuck it out for charity)

The main issue for me is that this show is supposed to be for children in need so the more people that vote the more money goes to them!. It makes no sense to me why people would want him off when he is clearly ensuring loads of money goes to children in need!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think he was wrong!. Thousands of fans have spent time and money voting for him, and he has now shown his gratitude by quitting!.
Remember this is a show paid for by the viewers and licence payers!.
He should be forced to come back, apologise and get on with what the paying public want!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yeh, people would have started hating him cause he wasn't the best dancer and he was defo going to win :D
He was only in it for the fun and when peopel start complaining it ain't fun anymore Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think its very sad that he felt he had to quit the competition however i do believe hes let his fans down who voted to keep him in every week!. He was by far the most entertaining contestant!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No - he shouldn't have allowed himself to be bullied off and should have respected the wishes of the public not the judges!Www@Enter-QA@Com

He could still change his mind - it's not Saturday yet !
He was entertaining , that's why I voted for him and the programme was for entertainment - so no- he wasn't right to pull out !Www@Enter-QA@Com

he shouldnt have left!!! ud swear they were all fighting 4 a deal 2 become professional dancers !.!.!.it was all just fun!!! none of them will ever b real winners now!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Once again the public has been ripped off, or at least those stupid enough to pay to vote in these things!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No no no noWww@Enter-QA@Com
