Question: UK Shopping Channel - Bid TV!?
Today's national press has been full of adverts for Bid TV selling a Panasonic Camcorder at ￡99 flat today!. They state this is a bargain as their own web checks show the same item on Play!.com at ￡499!.99, Dixons for ￡469!.99 and Amazon!.com at ￡424!.99!. I dialled to win this tonight but all nineteen had gone before I had dialled the third digit and I was fast! My question is did anyone actually win one of these camcorders!? Do you know anyone that did!? And just how can Bid TV discount by up to 80% !.!.!.!. far too much to be a loss leader I suggest! Www@Enter-QA@Com

i also tried to bid on a TV the other night, but my phone did not ring out, i am not sure if its a fix or not, as the numbers are different, why are they different!? why are they not the same for any item you bid on!. i wont be trying again, it sounded too good to be true!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
No, me and my mum are big fans of Bid Price drop and speed auction :) we tried for the sony bravia telly which was advertised in the papers which went just as fast, but nope we didnt get it, things like that on them channels are jus luck :) rest of the products are really good and dont go as quick because they arent as highly advertised as the cam corder and telly :) i would recomend them :)!.
the camcorder and telly were both advertised alot thats why they went sooo sooo fast ;)
the money they loose on them they make up by the price of the phone calls :)

Probably all a con and they didn't have any to start with, or they went to the workers and so went back on sale at the full price!. They'll do anything to get viewers and potential bidders!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
