at the end of season 3 it is revealed that some of them do get off the island and return home!. but they're distraught and want to return!.
in season 4 it's revealed that 6 make it off the island!.
and by the end of season 4 the 6 have to go back to the island because they have some unfinished business to take care of!.

Okay, we know that S5 will be about the O6 trying to get back to the island!. Beyond that, I've read a couple of things about what may be happening next and if the stuff is accurate, it'll be somewhat complex!.
In the end I think some will choose to stay on the island while others will be able to leave!. Some have no reason to go home, and some have no further business with the island!.

No, the show will continue until it gets pulled off the air!. Unless they know they are going to be unplugged then yes, on the final episode they will be found!. Because without them being lost there is no show!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
