Coronation Street is my preference out of the two because Eastenders is overly unrealistic and tacky!. It is ridiculous and really negative!. Coronation street although not always completely positive - it is much better than Eastenders which is all about affairs, death, crime and murder - how is that interesting or 'a powerful story line!?' But it makes me wonder!. My family and I never ever watch Eastenders, soaps in general are not huge in our household!. But that is just my opinion!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I personally watch Coronation Street, but I think Eastenders is more popular!.
I would watch Eastenders, but I find that just watching an episode of a soap I don't normally watch is a bit confusing because I don't really know who the characters are, but I reckon both are good soaps!Www@Enter-QA@Com

i watch them both , but over all coronation street is funnier, and much better to watch!. On the other hand, Eastenders have the better storylines!. I still think coronnation street should win the best soap award!. i prefer corriie :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
I don't watch Eastenders becasue it's toooooo unrealistic (and I'm not saying Corrie isn't unrealistic, just Eastenders is totally ridiculous!!) and it's much more depressing than Corrie!. Plus I just love Manchester accents!. Almost as much as Scouse accents :PWww@Enter-QA@Com

Corrie is much better but has got a bit stupid lately with the Rosie Webster Plot line amongst others!.
