Question: Seattle people, do you remember this 70's show!?
Do you remember P!.J!. Patches!? A morning cartoon show host clown that had a furry friend in the closet that said "oogah shaka, oogah shaka, oogah shaka"!? If you did, do you remember if it was a local show!? Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Long time Patches Pal here- yes it was an Seattle area based show that ran on KIRO TV for 23yrs- probably the Longest running local kids show in the usa!.

( I was on it when I was a Brownie and later met JP as an adult- what a treat!)

There are DVD collections of some of the shows-there is a nice book about the show

and recentlya statue of JP & Gertrude was unveiled in the Fremont area of Seattle ( I was there with many many others to show our Love and support of JP and Gertrude

I see there are some clips at youtube!.com

BTW that

oogah shaka, oogah shaka, oogah was actually from a pop song from the 70's Hooked on a Feeling by Blue Swede
