Question: When did pokemon turn different!?
I watched pokemon when I was little and it was cool!. then i saw it the other day and it is like totally different and the vioces too!. What happened to it!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

The original company that produced the English dub of Pokemon was 4Kids!. Their rights to produce the English version expired by the 9th season, and Pokemon USA decided to produce the English version themselves after that!. That's why, from season 9 (episode 422, the Battle Frontier season) onward there is a different voice cast and mostly different music!.
There's been a lot of controversy - lots of fans think Pokemon USA is just being greedy by not hiring 4Kids to do the series again, some of the original voice actors claim they could have been hired to do the series under Pokemon USA and were never asked to, while others say that the original voice actors, under 4Kids' contract, wouldn't be allowed to do the voices under Pokemon USA for at least one year even if they wanted to!.
Nobody knows the real story, and of course some fans very much dislike the new version (myself included), while others cite 4Kids' tendency to make translation mistakes and lack of original Japanese background music as reasons why the newer version is better!.
Although, by most objective standards, so few pieces of the original Japanese music are used in Pokemon USA's version of the show, I think that's a poor reason to use in favor of their version, and while I don't mind their voice actors, I think the English scripts, voice direction, and background music under Pokemon USA pale in comparison to both 4Kids' version and the original Japanese version!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
