personally i think it was bradley because of the talk between him and stacey earlier in the part of the show, and how stacey said it was max that ruined there whole relationship,
so after bradleys had a drink he see's that theres a car sat there with keys in the ignition 'which is darrens car as he had to leave to quickly grab libby as denise was coming!.
meanwhile bradleys proberbly not thinking straight and gets in the car!.
i dont think bradley planned to run over max, until he drives round the corner and sees max standing,and has a good oppourtunity so he puts his foot on it!.
