Question: What are your thoughts on America's Next top Model!?
Ok!.!.!. I am not looking for any specific answer!. The point that I want to make it that I love this show; I always have to watch the cycles whenever they come on VH1 or MTV, no matter how many times they come on!. I love the fact that they take some simple girl and turn her into obviously a model!. But what gets me so angry arre these girls that do not appeciate the oppurtunity that is given to them!. I watched last night's episode and I have to say that I am so upset with the judges!.!.!.How could they elimate Sheena!? I was so rooting for her, I wanted her to win!. Now I have no idea who will win this cycle, maybe Annaleigh or Mckey!. But what gets me even more ticked off it the fact that Elina is still in the running!. I mean come on!!! This girl is such a control freak; I did like her but I guess her true colors came out(sorry to any of you Elina fans)!. But if this girl wins this show then I will never watch this show again!. Yes, she has a edgy look but just because she is beautiful doesn't mean anything!. She has next to no personality!. Always hard, wearing black, and never shows any emotion!. Thank you fellow Sheena lover! I couldn't believe they kept Elina! Sheena was obviously getting better and Elina hadn't improved that "control" thing ONCE!. They always kept getting on her about being "hooch", but I never seen it!. I love her sex appeal!. Real lame!. I'm glad she made it to the other country though!.

A few seasons ago they settled on a formula!. Get at least one "crazy" girl who is there for drama, not for the competition!. Keep this girl around for the top 3, to keep the suspense going!.

Okay, I agree with another poster that the only reason Elina is viewed so poorly is that the other girls draw it out of her!. They have decided not to like her so the producers drum that up and I am convinced that they persuade the other girls to pick on her!. She is too full of control but I would be too if I had people hating on me all of the time!. Tyra said in one of the first shoots that Elina's strength is that her ethnicity is not obvious so she could represent a range of options!.
As for favorite season, I loved cycles 1 2 and 3!. Since then they have become way too formulated!. Though I DID love to see my girl Whitney win last season!. Anya could barely pronounce basic english and she was FROM AMERICA!. How are you going to rep Cover Girl!?
And Tyra HAS become completely self absorbed!. It's always about her!. "Well when I!.!.!." Get over it girl!. And the way she HAS to disagree with whichever other model on the set says (Twiggy, Paulina, Janice even) makes her look bitchy!. I loved Kim in cycle five because she really did develop the ability to represent feminine And masculine!. I think versatility is so important!.
Cycle 9 pissed me off!. I didn't think any of the girls were spectacular and I thought that Chantal should have won!. That hair cut on Saleisha was atrocious!. I couldn't even watch the shows!. Just the judging so that I could see the pictures!.
This season is strange because I think a lot of the girls are really strong!. But Marjorie is annoying the hell out of me!. If she can't stand in a room and look at one picture of herself without twitching and shaking how the hell is she going to be a true model!? And that back bend crap!? Stop resting on your 1 strength and develop some versatility!. And McKey is WAAAYYYY too masculine!.!.!.I can't believe she is still there!. I didn't want Sheena to go, but I think Elina is just stronger in her shoots!. Sheena had an awesome spirit to her though!. I thought the makeovers this season were a lot better than the past!. I think they actually work on these girls really well!.

I like the show, although this season is pretty weak!. I like Elina, but she is too rigidly herself to conform to the needs of the modeling world!. Gorgeousness is not all it takes to be a successful model, after all!. Elina is all edgy and cool but I cannot imagine her doing much else!. Sorry, but Sheena was weak!. I'm glad she's gone!. I rooted for her at first but she got old fast! Here are my answers:

I have a few things to say!. First, Tyra was never going to let Sheena win, knowing she had a boob job!. I think if Tyra had known that in the very beginning, Sheena would not have even made top 14!.
Second, the makeovers have become a joke - most of the best girls end up looking horrible afterward!. It's truly sad!.
Tyra no longer seems to care about the girls beyond the judging room - she used to be so involved and now the only time we see her is for judging time!.
Ever since cycle 8, the show has massively gone downhill!. I stopped watching after cycle 10 - I have been so unhappy with the winners!. For cycle 11 I only allow myself to watch the last 10 minutes and see who gets sent home!.

You can see how much Tyra has changed since the earlier cycles!. She conducted those one-on-one talks to the girls,gave them useful runway lessons,had those small tests at judging panel and was so much more involved during the earlier cycles!. But starting from probably Cycle 9 it became all about her,her,her,Tyra,Tyra,Tyra!. She became so narcissistic that it was so annoying!. She had to be mentioned in almost everything and it was painful seeing those girls having to fake those screams whenever Tyra,Mr Jay or Ms Jay came on!. And Cycle 9 just ruined it for me!. How could that mushroom head win,it was def rigged!. And Nigel's hot but he was an a** during Cycle 9!. During the final judging,Twiggy and Ms Jay picked Chantal whereas Nigel and Tyra picked Suckleisha!. And since Tyra has the final decision!.!.!.oh!. I miss Twiggy,I love Ms Jay!. They seem to be the only sane people in the judging panel!. Nigel can be so opinionated at times and Tyra!? Alright, personally I liked sheena, but she was way too comercial, and shes a slut!. no offense, and my favorite is elina and the reason everyone thinks she is a ***** is because they always try to pick fights with her, and sadly she is controlling, and hopefully that will change!.
