Everyone was scrambling to talk Ev into not taking their key, with Johnny telling her that he was sorry that he took personal digs at her!. Kenny and Johnny promised her that if she didn't take their keys that they would take her with Derrick and them, thereby outing Paula!. When it came down to it, she took Dunbar's key and chose to put things behind her with Johnny!. Then they had to pick their teams of 4 that minute and Paula and the rest of them were shocked to learn that Kenny, Johnny and Derrick were going to take Ev instead of Paula!. Paula was obviously upset, but they stuck by their word and also wanted to win, so they chose Ev over Paula!.
They all immediately started building their boats, and a bitter Dunbar helped Paula, Jen, Ryan and Robin's team (the blue team)!. The red team of Derrick, Johnny, Kenny and Ev were behind at first in building their boat as Paula got to choose which boat to take and she chose the one that was almost done!. But the red team caught up and they were off to the island!. The blue team just couldn't get it together and the red team won it all, 300,000 to be split among the four of them!.
Derrick was so happy about the fact that he would be able to provide for his wife and newborn child and it was good to see him win!. And Ev, while people will criticize her for having aligned with Johnny and Kenny, above all she is a competitor, and she had no loyalty to those other people!. She just wanted the strongest team!.
