i think that she asked emma to hide at the theatre and she got separated from her at the theatre with the storm, in missouri i saw a preview scene of emma showing up!. it all started as a way to get ryan back worrying about her and not all the other women in pine valley!. the question they are trying to have us ask is what happened in that storm i think they too a 180 and changed their story!. but she really looks scared now so she will pay for what she started and has anyone thought that she is with someone that knew of her plans and is teaching her a lesson!. that is my true feeling!.
