Question: Why is there a gap in the new series of Bones!?
There have been a few episodes already but they've suddenly stopped & don't start again until November 5th!. Why is that!?
I live in the UK, but I'm watching them ahead on SurfTheChannel & the in the USA schedule there's a few weeks gap!.

November is one of three "Sweeps" months in the U!.S!. (the others are Feb!. and May)!. This means that the ratings during this month will determine the advertising rates for the next several months!.
It's important for a TV series to get high ratings in November, so they can charge more ad dollars and benefit the network!. So the network may run a few repeats in October and save the new episodes to air in November, in order to get higher ratings!.
And yes, Fox-TV also has the rights to the World Series, so the regular programming has been skipped on some nights due to this important (!?) sports event!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
