If the story pace doesn't pick up and there isn't anymore action, then it will likely be canceled before season 2 airs!. They already signed a contract with HBO to renew a second season, however, HBO can always cancel the show if the ratings don't pick up!.
I hate to say it folks, but the Nielson ratings are not good for True Blood!. The show needs more action otherwise people will stop watching the show!. Right now there isn't much of a plot and the story is lagging a bit!. I mean, seriously, they can only cram so much of the vampire/human sex scenes down our throats before people get sick of that too! (Ha!)
