Tess's dad dies leaving her family homeless with no money,
Mr derbaville (the man who raped Tess) gets her to live with him and he will take care of her family after a long time of saying no she feels bad for her family and finaly agrees!.
Angel comes back and finds out where she lives then goes to see her telling her he is so sorry she say's its to late!. she goes upstairs has a argument with mr derbaville and stabs him then leaves and finds Angel the go on the run to a house and spend a while there but the housekeeper finds them so they go on the run again but get caught!
Angel promises Tess he will look after her sister and marry her
Tess goes to the gallows and Angel walks off with her sister!!
