Question: In your opinion, What made shows like Family Matters and Roseanne work so well!?

They were "normal" families!. Roseanne especially!. They show working-class families dealing with real situations (I remember an episode of Family Matters that I only saw once that dealt with one of the kid's friends being shot!. And Roseanne had teen pregnancy and all sorts of other situations people can relate to)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
They were funny and most people could kind of relate to them, some more than others! They deal with some of the "real issues" like your daughter being rebellious over a guy, etc!.!.!. And I think it was also nice to be able to watch it as a family!. These days there is so much drugs, violence, sex and profanity on tv and in movies that it just isn't enjoyable!. I still watch Rosanne! =)Www@Enter-QA@Com
They were funny and realistic!. Nothing so bizzarre that it would never happen!. Everything could happen!. Sure not all to one family, but you get the point!. The only unrealistic part about family matters is Erkle!. But he still makes it funnier and brought many viewers to the show!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
