Hmmm!.!.!.Okay, you might have a point!. The cartoon is technically a "drake"!. But I'm sure when Walt Disney sat down to draw that easily annoyed creature we all love and adore, he tought about it very carefully!. "Donald Drake!? Donald Drake!? Can kids really relate to a 'drake'!? Do kids really know what the hell a "drake'' is!? Noooooo!.!.!.okay let me (Walt Disney) dumb it down for the kids!.!.!.Donald Duck!.!.!.bam! That's it!"


So yes, drake is technically correct!. Donald Duck for us dumbed down generation for the last 80 years of enjoying Disney Animation!.
