Question: Is being a reality tv star a job!?
Just curious!. Megan Hauserman for example, as far as I know, shes been on 4 reality shows, Beauty and the geek, rock of love, i love money, and now rock of love charmschool!? and imdb doesn't even list her as a cast member on charm school, so god knows how many others shes been on!. So is it like a job or just a coincidence!? (also, i know VH1 invited her to charm school and i love money)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Some shows pay out per diems to the contestants on the show!. Other shows like Survivor (from what I've heard from industry insiders) pays on a scale from the Million dollars down, depending on when you get voted off the island!.
Many shows don't pay beyond a per diem!. If you're like the models on Project Runway, or Shear Genius, you get the exposure and a free haircut!?
For $100 a day it's probably less stressful (although, not much less stressful) to be a PA on one of these shows!. Going rate last I checked was closer to $125 a day, on the better paying shows!.
If you're a good cast member (ie put on a show for the producers, or are great at creating drama and have mastered the art of the sound bite in interviews) producers will keep you around for longer than maybe a non-biased judging panel would, just for drama's sake!.

Well, I was listening to the radio and they said that Rock of Love 3 auditions were coming to my city AND they pay you $100 per day that you are there!. So the other reality TV shows might pay even more!. So, yes, I suppose it is a paying "carreer"!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
