the more powers peter got, the more of an idiot he became, and the more stupid he was!. they needed to take away his powers so that he could go back to the sweet, sympathetic guy he was in season 1, not the blank twat he is now!. also, if he had all of his powers he could just stop time and kill everyone straight away, so without them its a challengeWww@Enter-QA@Com
They've created several issues with Peter and Sylar!. Basically, they're too powerful!. No matter what happens, there's very little that can't be handled by one or both of them!. They've practically become gods!. The writers need to scale both of them back, and this is a good way of doing it!. With Sylar, they have him trying to control his addiction!. With Peter, his powers were taken from him!. I think part of the point this season is they've become too dependent upon their abilities, and Peter will have to learn to cope without them!.
Don't forget, Pinehurst now has the formula for creating synthetic powers, and we know it works because it was used on Nathan, Niki and Tracey, among others!. They can always try giving the treatment to Peter and create some kind of new ability for him!. It's also possible his father can give powers back if he chooses to do so!.
I don't think he'll be powerless permanently!. I do think that this will be good for him in the long run!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I completely agree,
I missed the episode on Monday so I don't know exactly what happened
but I've heard enough to know that it was pretty bad!.
It's even been described as "jumping the shark"!.
I however feel, that though the plot isn't as good as the first year and though yes it's really confusing, i still feel like its pretty good for its exciting and suspenseful!.
So, though yes a Powerless Peter is so very annoying, i feel (and hope) that it will work out and make sense in the end, in a way that just everyone will look back and be like "O that was cool"
