Perhaps I have missed something along the way but do they not know or care that giving people abilities is what brings on the end of the world eventually!? What good is all the moeny they are making if everyone ends up dead anyway!? I am not quite sure I understand their motives!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think they have motives other than money, we'll just have to wait and find out what they are!. It's possible that Arthur, like Sylar, wants more power, and believes that generating more people with special abilities for him to 'feed' on is the fastest way to accomplish this goal!. It's also possible that they believe it will make them more accepted by society, that there's another future they've seen where people with special abilities are victims of genocide because ordinary humans are so afraid of them!. They could very well believe they're the good guys here, and while they know about the vision of the world ending, they think they have a way of stopping it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Pinehurst didn't have anyone who could see the future or travel in time as far as we know (at least until Peter's dad stole his powers this week anyway)!. I'm guessing that's why Pinehurst was trying to get Hiro to bring the pre-cog guy from Africa to them!.

It's bigger than that-more of a power trip and also if anyone can be special no one is anymore!. More of thumbing your nose at the folks who think that heritage is the best way to get a power!. Look at how Mother Patrelie explained to Nathan that he was an experiment "we thought you could handle it fine because of your heritage"!. I think it will come out that there is a big rift on how you got power!. Plus the future is fluid and changes here and there can ripple and change it again!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
