If House is on the Fox network, why is is syndicated on the USA network, owned b!
Question: If House is on the Fox network, why is is syndicated on the USA network, owned by NBC Universal!? !?
Answers:
As already said, USA Network was sold the basic cable rerun rights to the popular Hugh Laurie series (at a premium, no doubt) by the show's producers!.
And to Mrs!. House: Friends is owned by Warner Bros!. (who brokered the TBS and local Fox rerun deals while the show was still on the air!.!.!.it entered off-network syndication when Season Six premired on NBC; the TBS deal was made during the fifth season) and not NBC!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They've obviously bought the rights to show reruns!. I'm sure it was a pretty penny!. But, look at the viewership it brings to USA!. They don't show new episodes, only old ones!. You can watch Friends reruns on Fox or TBS, and I think NBC owned that!. Just the way it works I guess!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Because NBC Universal is the production company that produces House!.
