I am asking myself the same question!. She is a great singer, she sings from the bottom of her heart!. I think that not being British is affecting her!. Many people don't want her to win just because she is Spanish!. As Marion said, she probably hasn't got a lot of family here voting for her like the others : ( - i liked her song, she's got a great voice - i think she endears herself to the public when she sings a verse of a song in Spanish -- and Purple Rain was *amazing*!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I know! And Simon didn't even save her!. He chose Girlband who were absolute bollocks!. If Ruth hadn't had the most votes, I would seriously go over and kill Simon Cowell!. We would of lost one of the greatest singers in the competition! I thought I was gonna pass out when Dermot said 'The act that had the least number of votes and is going home tonight is!.!.' it seems to last half an hour until they actually say who's going through and who's not!. I was praying Ruth would get through!. She's incredible!.

I guess it was like Simon said!.!.!. People like her because she is unique and she stands out from the crowd because of her Spansih senorita side! Her performance last night simply caused her to blend into the crowd especially against voices such as Laura's, Diana's and Austin's! But her performance of Purple Rain was mind-blowing!
