Ugh, he really irritated me last night, that was pathetic!. OK, so Girl Band actually sang in tune (for once) in their final song but Ruth was incredible, I was so impressed with her last night!.
I think either Simon fancies her, has tried it on and been rejected so he's got the hump now, or he only fancies her when she sings in Spanish, so for his own gratification he wants her to do it every week!.
It would have been nice if he'd had the guts to admit how great she was in the sing-off and vote for her but oh no, can't have that!. I wasn't impressed with him last night!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think deep down he knew Girl Band would be going home either way!. As you said, Ruth was clearly much better than them!. And maybe he felt sorry for Girl Band-the fact that Louis has lost 2 acts in a row, in such early stages show he probably wasnt giving them good enough guidance!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think it's because he really likes her and she has listened to his advice about singing in Spanish for the previous shows before last night, which he enjoyed and now he's acting like a spoilt brat because he hasn't got his own way!. xWww@Enter-QA@Com
