BUT they were all wearing Tony masks and it could have been anyone of them standing in the middle of the road :s

The reason he had the yellow hoody on was so the driver knew it was him!. The street was well lit, and the car had its lights on!. Tony will also have told him that Liam would be in the middle of the road on his own, he'll have been following them all night so he knew which one to hit!. Tony leaves nothing to chance, he had it all well planned out!.

Liam's top was conveniently bright, I thought!. I think it would all have been more dramatic if the car had suddenly appeared out of nowhere and hit Liam within a second or two, rather than it taking several seconds to reach him!.
