yes!. its a long story, but i'll do my best explaining!.
so there were two hearts going out, and burke went to pick up one for denny, and it wasn't a good heart!. denny had said to izzy that if this heart didn't come through, that that would be it, he didn't want to be stuck in the hospital any more!. so when burke called and asked izzy to tell denny that he wouldn't get a heart today, izzy said that denny was getting worse, therefore bumping him up the list to get the other heart!. there is huge drama where the board needs to verify this, and it goes on for the whole episode, izzy telling burke that denny has gone in to cardiac arrest or whatever!. then she needs to make him actually worse, because burke is coming while alex watched the heart, kept the other doctor from taking it!. so she cut the L-VAD wire that was keeping his heart pumping, and this meant that she had to hand pump it, therefore making everything that she had told burke true!.
in the end he got the heart, but died as a result of a stroke!. apparently he was prone to strokes and izzy blamed herself for this, no idea how she logically thought that she could have cause this, but she obviously wasn't being logical!.
