Question: What do you think of the series "24"!?
Someone lent me Series 4 and I am slowly getting through it!. It is a bit too 'American-style' for me, with too much violence and shooting!. But it is exciting and keeps my attention!. What do others think!? I would like to hear your opinions!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

it used to be exceptional, back when it was still a novelty!. in the end it cant be criticised for being unrealistic and escapist entertainment when one of the most popular shows around is about superheroes!. but it did eventually become both too formulaic and too contrived to really be any good!. i mean, how many spies can you really get into the government!? it seems like there are spies in every office in america!. but jack bauer is a great character, and without him the show would be unwatchable!. if you watch it, its to watch him be a badass and taking namesWww@Enter-QA@Com

Since then the show has become a shock value series that actually isn't that shocking by the time series 6 came out it was like they cut all the bits from previous seasons and edited it all into 1
Because there was a writer strike last year im hoping they actually spent a bit of time planning series 7 so hopefully by FEB 09, 24 will be exciting again!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I find, along with other American 'action' series like Prison Break, they start off absolutely brilliantly, then get so convoluted and silly!.

Personally, I found it so unrealistic that I couldn't watch it!. However, my dad and uncle are really into it!. I mean how can all those things happen in one day!? and it seems like Jack Bauer never eats, sleeps, or uses the washroom that whole day!. Plus, if there are like 6 seasons, doesn't that mean only 6 days have elapsed!.!.!.!.!?

I love 24!. I have watched it from season 1 and can't wait for the next season!. I know it is all very far fetched, but that is one of the reasons I love it so much!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
