Question: Is there any thing to be done about the programs on basic cable!. !?
I watch a bit more TV in the Winter!. But stations like A&E aside from Para Normal State -have the same darn re runs as a few years ago when I had cable !. Like Murder She wrote or Mat lock!.
I watch the History channel -but it seems they have taken off UFO hunters now!.
In fact it would seem that every time I like a program -it is gone shortly after!.
With the long winter nights -I read for a while -then watch TV !. But I wonder if the programming is worth the money!. And I wonder How I might contact each of these net works and let them know how bad they have become!.
On the learning channel they had hours on how to dress !. Geese

you might want to consider investing in some premium channels!. I too tend to watch a little more TV in the winter months, and basic cable has so much on that I don't care for, so, I have HBO and Showtime!.

If you want to contact specific networks, it would be best to look for a link/address on their official websites!. Basic cable is basically a wasteland for repeats and reality although their are some exceptions!.
Why don't you watch the broadcast networks like ABC,CBS,NBC,FOX, or TheCW as they have a great amount of new programming at night!.

No you can't do anything about it!. A&E is doing what it always has done-A&E stands for Arts and Entertainment!. Those two shows you mentioned are class entertainment, many levels above the crap called entertainment on today's networks!. Personally, I don't watch those!.
TV Land shows re-runs of M*A*S*H thankfully!. Even ER isn't on the same level as M*A*S*H!.
TMC (The Movie Channel) shows classic movies from the thirties, forties and fifties!. You would never see Bogart movies otherwise!.
