No, ross and rachel could of had the chance to get together finally after all those yrs, but joey had to accidentally propose to rachel and have a crush on her afterwards!. it shouldn't of happened and u can see how desperate the writers and producers were to come up with new ideas!. it basically shouldn't of happened and prob turned away many viewers and made other viewers hate joey for that!. i always hated when rachel had a crush for another guy, like tag, her assistant, mark!. but when ross went out with other chicks it sort of felt alrite, weird aye!. maybe because i sort of new he was gonna see rachel and dump that chick str8 after he saw rachel!. but every time u saw rachel going out with someone u saw ross felling a bit jealous and felt sorry for ross!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

they developed a friendship & when the show took it there it was WAAAYY to off the wall!. besides it made joey look too rebound-like or like rachel was trying too hard or something!.
it was just something you didn't see coming!.
and to make matters worse they had rachel say the line:
"man, charlie's really makin her way throught the group!.!.!. aw who am i to talk"
didn't really make her look too good ya know!?
he wasn't rachel's type!. like when she dated that college soccer player just to be in a relationship!. it was also like the writers tried to accomodate them 2 to try & be compatible & it just left a sour taste in your mouth!.

I really liked it, but I don't think they did it properly!. I think they could have really had something (and then broken up after really dating) but because it was the last season and only had 13 episodes, they couldn't spend the proper time playing out that plotline!. They just kinda had to end it right away!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
It was!.!.!. kind of weird!. In the end, though, I'm glad that they did-- if Rachel and Joey had never dated, I think I always would have wondered "What if!?!?" Overall, the build up of Joey being in love with Rachel was much better than the two of them actually dating!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
