Question: Why did Mischa Barton off the O!.C Quit!?
Does anyone know why she quit!? Did she quit after they decided to have her in an accident or did she quit so they killed her off!? Just wondering!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Mischa decided to pursue acting in films!. She didn't exactly ask to be taken off the OC but the writers/producers came to a point where they decided that her character had done about all she could and they needed new story lines!.
The actors did not even know who would die at the end of season 3, as they filmed several different endings!.
I think the ratings would have stayed up and the show would have lasted longer if she had stayed on!.

She probably wanted to be let go to pursue other things or because of money or scheduling and they decided it would be best to kill her off!.
They could have decided to get rid of her and killed her off without her wanting out but she probably wanted out!.

she say she wanted to try something new , namely focusing more on movies!. thats why they killed her in the show, wad a pity i always like her and ryan as a couple!.
