I am really surprised! Victoria seems really wrapped up in her whole life all of the time!. I just think the writers are trying to give both of them a friend, because Karen is so isolated that she has no friends and Victoria is always so self-absorbed that she doesn't really have any either!.

I was surprised at Vicky taking the time to talk to Karen and was even more surprised when Karen opened up to her and they were talking like they were old friends!. Maybe since she doesn't have any friends and Karen doesn't have any friends, they might start a friendship!. Didn't at one time Vicky dated Neil a very long time ago!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
She is probably being so nice to Karen because she has no other friends to talk to anymore!. Think about, what friends does she pal around with besides her Mom and brother (and they are family, not friends)!.
