Question: Peter in HEROES show!?
In the latest episode of Heroes, Season 3 episode 4, Peter goes into the future and sees the future Sylar!. Then he asks Sylar for his power which is to take other peoples powers from the by cutting open their head or smthn!. But i thought in season 1 & 2 Peter could absorb other powers from people so why does he need Sylars power of taking other powers!?!?!? Or am i wrong and wasnt paying attention!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Peter is like a sponge!. He can absorb powers from others, but he doesn't always know how to access and use them!. That's what he and Claude were working on through season 1!. Sylar's original power is intuitive aptitude - he understands how complex systems (like brains and time) work!. The problem is that an obsession with obtaining more knowledge is a side effect, which is what led to the cutting off of skulls!. Peter's problem was that he had no idea how to access and use the intuitive aptitude!. Once Sylar showed him and basically activatedthe ability within him, he started having the same side effects!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Peter can't get Sylar's powers because Gabriel didn't have any powers - just the power to fix watches! Gabriel started to steal other people's powers to become more special!. Peter can not absorb any of Sylar's powers because the powers did not manifest in Sylar, like Nathan's, Claire's and Matt's powersWww@Enter-QA@Com
No you got it wrong!. Sylar's power is not to steal other peoples powers by cutting them up!. Sylar's power is to be able to understand how things work!. Sylar however got carried away and began to kill to feed his hunger!. He has the hunger to know more and have more!. Now that Peter has his power, Peter will also get the hunger!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

This season I personally think is real confusing!. Its the past, its the future, its the present day, you are bad, you are good!.
I think they are trying to hard to make it good after being off the air so long because of the writers strike!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
