On Friday, October 3, 2008, Misty May-Treanor was injured during practice!. She received immediate medical attention!. At the end of the next episode, on Monday, October 6, May-Treanor announced that she had ruptured her Achilles tendon, and thus had to withdraw from the competition; moreover, she had surgery scheduled for October 7!. She plans to return to volleyball competition after her recovery, stating that she had already planned to take some time off, so this injury did not affect her career!. On the October 7th results show, Bergeron revealed that there would be no elimination for the week due to May-Treanor's withdrawl, and the scores from the week would be combined with the scores from the following week!. He also revealed that Rocco DiSpirito would have been eliminated!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Nobody cause Misty is no longer able to dance due to her injury!. It would've been Rocco, but he got lucky due to her injury and they're going to combine votes from this and next week and then eliminate someone!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
