Agreed!. It's to the point where I can no longer watch it!. I think it's time to close it down!. Running out of story lines that aren't so predictable!.

I used to watch all of the L & O's!. But I just hated SVU after a while, so heavy and thick with the horrible things the writers had happening to the vics!. I know it was fiction, but it started to piss me off!. I think the negativity got to me after a while!.
I actually don't watch them anymore!. I watch NCIS and the CSI's!.

I think it goes through cycles - such a long running show will have ups and downs depending on the characters!. I currently have Season One on DVD, and it's fab! (I missed it the first time through)!.
My favourite franchise is Criminal Intent though !.!.!. the new music is soo stupid, but the plots are still ok!. Even though some of the main character's back stories are getting a bit contrived!.
I think CSI has ruined a lot of crime shows - they used to be about investigation and prosecution, now they're about technique, and fancy camera work, which gets a bit tedious!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't buy Chris Noth in that role after Sex and the City and Julianne Nicholson is weird looking!.
