Kyle Reese was a child when Skynet attacked!. He grew up and became of of John Connor's soldiers!. Skynet sent a terminator back to 1984 to kill Sarah before Jon could be born!. John sent Kyle back to stop it!. Kyle slept with Sarah and was then killed by the terminator - this happened in a sense before he was even born!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

the timeline is the same as the first 2 movies, but not the 3rd!. in the movies, john is born, judgement day happens, he fights alongside kyle reese, who goes back in time to save his mother and ends up being johns dad!. the physics of it is that time is predetermined, past, present and future is already set, or else there would be no kyle reese in the future to send back in time!. which implies that time cant be changed!. which means sending a terminator back in time wouldnt make a difference, because its failure is also predetermined!. confusing!.!.!.!. :SWww@Enter-QA@Com
Time travel!. John sent Reese back in the first movie to rescue his mom Sarah Conner knowing Reese was his dad!. It is paradoxical but it is also fiction!. REAL time travel doesn't work like that at all!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
