Question: In season three, why can't peter petrelli heal when claire shoots him!?
i thought that he had the powers of anyone he came in contact with, and he already had the healing!. when claire shoots him in one episode, he dies, he doesn't heal!. i don't get it! also, why does peter have to go to sylar and get his power!? wouldn't he already have sylars powers from a previous meeting!? or perhaps i'm incorrect about the way peter's power works!? i really dont know!.!.!.!.i wondered the same thing, she even said she needs to shoot him in the back of the head but she didnt with future peter and he still died!. also, i also wondered if the haitian can block healing powers, but if he could, then the company could have killed adam monroe long ago instead of locking him up!. he even said, if there were a way to kill him the company would have, which implies that the haitian cant block certain powers!. he couldnt block nathan from flying away in season 1 and he couldnt block the invisible man from using his powers either, so there are certain powers, ones which are automatic rather than activated which he cant block!. so my answer is!.!.!.who knows!?!? :S
also, i think peter had to go to sylar cos his power is more complex, he has to understand him to understand how to use his power!. with sylar, he can use a power immediately once he has taken it due to his innate understanding, but peter just absorbs it, he isnt so good at controlling it!. i think its more that he went to understand how to use it rather than physically taking itWww@Enter-QA@Com

my opinion is the haittian was there, and that is future who knows what people can do, just like parkman's power grow stronger maybe the haittian to, so after claire shoot the future peter, the past peter must bang the haittian's head to escape, and about adam monrooe, he was a key that anggela told to hiro on end of episode, so they must keep him alive, beside his power is harmless so they don't need to focus on him Www@Enter-QA@Com

i was also wondering that! you'd think he could've stopped the bullet, but perhaps he was taken by surprise!. the hatian wasn't there when she shot him, was he!? also, when claire was cutting the young peter, he didn't heal!. but the hatian was there during that part!. but when claire and the hatian left, peter should've heal cuz there wasn't anything inside him!. isn't it a little silly that the older, more experienced, and seemingly wiser peter would die from a simple gun shot!? if it isn't the real peter petrelli, who could it be!? not sylar, for sure!.!.!.!.!.!. hmm!.!.!.!. this is confusing!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
