How do people get their huge items appraised at Antiques Roadshow?!
Question: How do people get their huge items appraised at Antiques Roadshow!?
I have a classic organ (insert joke here) that I would like to have appraised!. It's EXTREMELY heavy and I would love to have it appraised locally but I don't think there's anyone in my area qualified enough!. I thought the TV show would be a very cool thing!. How does the show work!? I checked out their website and it doesn't have much detail!. (If anyone has been on the show and can explain more that would be great)!. How would I get something like that there, and do they have people there that offer to buy these things sometimes!? Just curious!! Thanks!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well like here in LA!. we have like a preliminary show then move on up to the big show!. With something that big apparently they're using like a dolly or wagon to carry those items!.
You probably could take a picture first to see if anyone is EVEN willing to look and appraise the item!.
Personally I hate the show - favortism!. Yep, one has to keep up ratings and well the bigger the appraisal price the more the attention to the show!. But in all fairness everyone should get a shot of getting appraised!.
