Question: Why is it that House's latest episode "Birthmarks" is not airing this week!?

Ah to answer your question they are having another presidential debate this week so house, and the mentalist, law and order are all off this week

Actually, House IS airing on the 7th, but it's a repeat of the episode called UGLY!. Blame the debate, but most shows throw in a repeats during the season when they have big competition from another show or a holiday!. For most TV shows, a full season is 24 episodes (less than half a year) - which would certainly not be enough to have a new one every week from Sept!. - May!.
