Baby Max is Tina and Russ's baby!. Tina had a one night stand with Russ, when her boss was sexually harassing her, and Dom refused to believe her, and Russ was the only one who supported her, and, well one thing led to another!.
Tina then agreed to be a surrogate mother for Jacqui, with Tony as the biological father (using a turkey baster)!. Tina didn't realise until later that she was already pregnant by Russ, and only found out when she went for a scan, and the size of the baby meant that it would date to her one night stand with Russ!.
Tina was then pushed down some steps by Niall (she doesn't know it was him yet) and had an emergency caesarean, but bled so heavily that she had to have a hysterectomy!. Although Jacqui knew that Tony wasn't the real father she still wanted to have the baby!. Tina did give the baby (named after Max who had just died) to Jacqui and Tony, but later demanded Max back!. Well basically, after tina was being harassed by Pete Webster, and Dom did nothing about it, russ came to the rescue and punched pete!. Then Dom and tina had some time apart when Dom went on holiday, which he was originally gonna go on with tina, but she backed out and stayed in hollyoaks!. Then she was really upset and went to Russ's, and the slept together!. Then when Dom got back, they didn't tell him!.

When Mercedez and Russ split, and when Tina split up from Dom, Tina and Russ slept together, and afterwards, Tina told Jackie that she will carry her child for her, so Tony gave her sperm to inject so she can get pregnant!.
BUT, she was already pregnant before that, because she slept with Russ before all of that happened, and she found out she was 2 weeks pregnant before she agreed to carry a baby for Jackie!.
Russ got suspicious about this, but he didn't really say anything!.
Then comes along the baby, Jackie looked after the baby at first, but Tina decided she wanted Max back, so she got him back!.
But then the secret was revealed, Russ was Maxes dad, and they both had to confess!.
It was a pretty good story line, shame you missed it! ;]

tina slept with russ after dom didn't stick up 4 her , a couple of Weeks later see agreed 2 be a surrogate 4 tony and jackie by using her egg and tony's sperm , when they went for the scan jackie and tina found out it was russ's baby and no0t tony's but jackie made tina keep it secret , after tina had baby max she gave it to tony and jackie as planed but started breastfeeding it on the sly , tony and jackie found out and tony thought it best that baby should be with tina , tina and dom looked after baby until dom slept with another woman and tina found out russ was gonna travel the world never to return so told russ the baby was his !.
