Question: Why doesn't Extreme Makeover Home Ed!. build about 5 regular homes instead 1 extravagent or pay off mortgages!?

It doesn't make for as good of TV!. The show is usually only 45 minutes long (with 15 for commercials)!. 10 minutes are spent making you become emotionally involved with the family, 20 minutes are spent getting you emotionally involved with both the design team, the house itself, send setting you up for the big payoff, and the last 15 are spent with you getting an emotional payoff!.
If you did 5 houses in 45 minutes, the should would boild down to 2 minutes of the fam, 4 minutes of the house, and 2 minutes seeing the result!.!.!.then do it again! Not good TV!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No one wants to watch a regular home being build !.!.!.!.!. you could do that at your local construction company!. Extravagance is what it's all about !.!.!.!.take that away and there wouldn't be a show!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
