you think will finally be able to "snap him out of it" (his deep depression)!?
There would be no show without Victor, he's too important of a character for TPTB to just let him up & die, so something or someone is going to have to bring him back to reality and my guess is that Ashley and Abbey (assuming she will come back with Ashley) will!.
Victor has always had a special place in his heart for Ashley and Abbey always seems to cheer him up just by her presence, so I think if anybody can give him a reason to live, they can!.

You no I completely agree with you on the Ashley & Abbey thing!.!.!.!.he has always, always, always had really deep feelings for Ash and he simply adores little Abbey so perhaps that will be what gets Vic back together and maybe he and Ash will reunite because we all no that she has no relationship since Ridge Forrester dumped her for the slut Brook(B&B) and she and Vic looks real nice together, I kinda hoped that Vic and Nikki would get back together but I kinda perfer that it be with Ash since they have the child and all and the child would help fill the void of his unborn baby with Sabrina!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think it just might be Ashley coming back!. I had read on soaps!.com that she will play an important role!. Victor is one that is going to Paris and so is Ashley so they might end up together there!. You are right, he always had a special place for her in his heart, he cares about her deeply and I truly believe that she has always loved him no matter what!. I definitely agree that Ashley and Abby would really cheer up Victor!. (That cute little actress that plays Abby - who wouldn't she cheer up!?), but my theory is that this "depression" and him being locked in his home surrounded by body guards is his way of protecting his family from the mob!.
It looks like he killed one of their more powerful members, and if his family is hanging around and if the guards aren't outside then everyone would be in danger!.
I'm sure part of him wants and needs the time to grieve over the loss of his beloved wife Sabrina!. But he is The Great Victor Newman, so more than that, I really believe all of this stuff he is doing/going through (handing over Newman to Neil, refusing to see anyone, etc!.) is so that all of the people he loves and cares about are protected from the mob!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
