Question: Does anyone know what 'The Family' on channel 4, is all about!?
I like watching it and enjoy it, and I have always thought that it was a comedy program!. But at the adverts it says, documentries with 4!. I'm
quite confused!. also, ive heard a rumour that it is set on a real family!.

Yes, it's like big brother lol but just one family and they are being filmed for 100 days and 100 nights to see what they get up to!.
There is the mum, dad, oldest daughter Katie who has her own baby called Ruby and lives somewhere else with her fiance so you don't see her much, Emily who is 19 years old and dropped out of school and does little jobs and loves going clubbing and out with her mates, the next daughter is 17 (can't remember her name lol) who is the clever one of the family and then there is Tom who is 14 but he isn't really in the program much!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Too much reality for me, I don't find it entertaining!. This is the area channel 4 falls down on, their must have reality shows, big brother is bad enough!. I wish they would stick to comedy such as ugly betty, samantha who and the great house and numbers!. Friends, fraser etc!. Too much reality already on tv!. If there was a camera on you 24/7 you wouldn't behave normally and naturally, it would all be contrived!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Giving an example is the best way to describe this programme, lets pretend a tv company put cctv cameras all over your family home, filmed for a certain period of time and then put the film on Channel 4!. Thats what they have done but with a family called The Hughes!.

It is set on a real family, they allowed cameras to film them for a year or something but I have to say, I watched the first one and I think it's the most dull thing I've ever seenWww@Enter-QA@Com
