I think this could be true, but I believe it's true of most elections!.!.!.that most people are too lazy to find out which candidate is actually the best on certain issues or situations, and go with whomever is most popular or who they "just like"!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

His running mate hasn't completed half her term as the governor of the least-populous state in the Union, hasa run up deficits, fires people without cause and disputes any evidence that contradicts her existing beliefs!.

To some extent, yes!. He is a new face on the national stage and captured the attention of the media!. The media glossed over asking him tough questions during the primaries!. They didn't thoroughly investigate his ties to Rezco (spelling) nor did they address the Rev Wright issue until they had no choice!. Even then, they really didn't address why someone who supposedly doesn't believe in Wright's views sat their for 20 years and listened to it!. (I find it difficult to believe that Rev Wright only spoke out when Obama wasn't there)!. Palin received media frenzy when she was announced but it wasn't long before the stories began!. He is such a charismatic figure and an amazing public speaker!. He has been so strategic in trying to get the younger voter demographic - I heard his web site is a social network like MySpace or Facebook!. It would make sense that younger people are more drawn to him than to John McCain (based on age and such, not views)!. Perhaps that is one of the reasons why he is so popular, because he is trying to get the young people's vote!.
