To me, as it has dragged on, "The Office" has become less about "the office" and more about "the people within the office"!. Hence, it has lost its special charm and degenerated into just yet another boring sit-com!.
I once heard that the original BBC series lasted only a couple of seasons!. The producers and writers pulled the plug when they realized that they had run out of good scripts!.
