Will I be lost if I watch Stargate Atlantis and skip Stargate SG-1?!
Question: Will I be lost if I watch Stargate Atlantis and skip Stargate SG-1!?
Netflix doesn't have all of the disks for SG-1!. I thought of just starting with Atlantis, but didn't know how linear the different shows are!. Will I be lost if I skip SG-1 and go strait into Atlantis!?

first of all can i say that both stargate sg1 and stargate atlantis are one of, if not the best tv programmes ever!
umm!.!.!.i definitely recommend that you watch the pilot 'rising' mainly to get you into whats going on especially if you've never watched stargate sg1, but other than that you should be fine, there are a few small things every now and then that relate back to stargate sg1 but they're all really well explained in each of the episodes!.
However if you get the opportunity, i would definitely watch stargate sg1 simply because its amazing, and you will be able to understand and relate to some of the smaller details of atlantis such as the goauld and how the stargate team discovered that atlantis was real! I believe that stargate atlantis really doesn't disappoint as a spin off and would recommend it to anyone!. Great sci fi action, good effects and exciting story lines :)

You'd be slightly lost without having watched any SG-1 (if that's even a possible thing to do)!. But that can be fun!. If anything, watch the Stargate movie first that spawned the SG-1 series!.

!.!.!.umm, u might get a little lost at some points if u go skip sg1, but other then that u should be ok, bt if i was u, i'd watch sg1 first, because u'd i think sg1 was better then atlantis!. but u probaly be fine if you skip it!. hope this helps, byeWww@Enter-QA@Com
