last night i watched the deadliest catch and phil hurt his ribs and was coughing up blood!.eventually he went for medical advice and there was a white mass in his lung!.does anyone know the outcome!?was it just a chest infection!.i love this programme and phil from the cornelia marie and joathan from the time bandit are my favourite captains!.does anyone know how phil got on!?thanks in advance!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

There is a behind the scenes program after the show!. In it, Phil no longer has cigarettes, but is chewing gum!.
As everyone has said, he had a blood clot in his lung!. People that sit for extreme amounts of time run the risk of developing them in the legs!. Those can go unchecked and travel to the lung!. In Phils case, it actually went through his heart, then to his lung!.
If anyone watches Ice Truckers, the same thing happend to a trucker!. It traveled from his leg to his lung and Drs were worried it would go to his heart!. His trucker days are over!.
Sitting still for great lengths of time slows the blood flow, giving it time to thicken and clot!. My dad was a trucker and had one that actually caused a heart attack!.
I have a feeling that Phil will not let this deter him!. If he takes alot of breaks and stays on the blood thinners, he could still command his boat!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It could be as serious as lung cancer, especially asbestos related cancer, mesothelioma!. Or it could even be a case of pneumonia!. There is no way to be sure without having more info!.

there was a blood clot that came from his leg and traveled up into his lungs !.!.!.it was actually pretty serious!.!.i know that he is ok now but not sure if he will be able to return to fishing for crab!.!.which sux cuz Phil and Jonathan are my fav too !.!.i like the Northwestern too
