well scroll down on this list and you see 'cast changes' they put arriving and departing characters on there!. sarah jayne dunne is still in the main cast list and not the cast change list which goes up until november, so she will still be on screen until at least november! maybe they extended her contract!?!

I think she meant she was staying all summer as in the woman who plays mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn) not actually Mandy!. I think they might decide to extend her contract tbh
